Artwork commissions are custom paintings created uniquely for you, where you can choose a size, desired colour palette and include your own personal story.

HOW IT WORKS:

Where do we start?

I will meet with you either over the phone or online to discuss more information about the piece that you'd like. During this time we will discuss the piece's subject or image reference, style, colour preferences, sizing as well as timing.

After the initial meeting, I will use these details to create a commission quote and design brief summary.

Digital Sketch & Refinement

Once the design brief and quote has been approved, a digital sketch is created to show composition and main subject details. This sketch will be presented alongside a colour guide which will inspire the colours used in the finished painting. This will give you an idea of what to expect for the full-sized painting.

This stage also gives us the opportunity to make adjustments according to your suggestions and feedback if you have any - until it's perfect for you.

The Paint Process & Final steps

After the sketch and colour guide is complete and is approved, the painting process will begin. Once the painting is complete, I will contact you to arrange the final payment and to organise the shipping or collection of your piece(s).

About the Artist

My name is Jasmine Bonnici, I’m the artist, designer and founder of Hey Bonnie. I love exploring a variety of materials and working with people to bring their stories to life.

  • Artworks are priced based on their size and the subject matter you're interested in, whether it's a landscape, still life, abstract piece, or something entirely unique.

    Once we discuss your vision and preferred dimensions, I'll provide a detailed quote covering the cost of the painting, framing and shipping.

    For reference, our smallest commission size (15×15cm canvas), ideal for intimate pieces like still life or abstract studies, starts at $99 plus shipping.

  • Timeframes vary depending on the size and type of the piece. The painting process for mid-sized pieces usually takes around 6 to 8 weeks to complete.

    If the piece is a gift for someone or you have a particular deadline, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.
